At TAG we use a time-tested process of wealth management. When a client joins our firm, a team of TAG employees from several disciplines is assembled. This team, which will continue to serve the client throughout the relationship with TAG, then moves to the next stage. The Planning stage of the wealth management process begins with in-depth interviews and thorough research into the clients overall financial picture. Analysis of this information enables TAG to formulate a comprehensive wealth management plan based on current and anticipated future requirements, including disposable income, risk/reward expectations, tax strategies and administrative needs. Once agreed upon, the plan must be put in place. Click and drag the circle to view chart. The Implementation phase then begins. Drawing upon outside professional talent as well as TAGs own in-house experts, TAG executes the clients master plan. This may include substantial reallocation of assets, establishment of generation-skipping trusts, revision of insurance coverage, negotiation of more favorable financing, creation of vehicles for charitable-giving, etc. Once the agreed-upon strategies are in place their efficacy must be evaluated on a regular basis. Monitoring performance becomes essential to the overall process. Managers must measure up to their benchmark indexes, or be replaced. When facts change, strategies must be reevaluated. The master plan may be modified as a result. The Monitoring phase must be dynamic. |
